Gani Else, the leader of owo-based cult gang in ondo state locked horns with the police men as he engaged in a fierceful gun battle with the security personnel.The gun duel took place on sunday (17th April 2017) at a farmstead sharing boundary with the Ondo State Forest Reserve.
According to an eyewitness who watched from a distance,Gani Else shut the security personnel from a hide out and his hide out became the last place he ambushed on earth as he lost his life in the process.
Before his death, Gani was said to have claimed responsibility for series of killings in Owo and surrounding communities. Here is the photo of slain cult leader below.
